Sexy sexy time!! Hello beautiful darlings, it's Miss Joy here, feeling fit and fab in Seattle, Wa. I am highly caffeinated and a little kooky from lack of sleep, so I figure, what's the best thing to do? POST ON MY BLOG! hahah yes, the craziness has set in. SO, what's new? MUSIC! Lots and lots of it. My new bandmates and I have been rehearsing like wildcats, and playing shows all over Seattle. ate lifeMy next stop is NYC! The BIG APPLE! I just feel so excited when I type that. Can you believe it??? Lil ole Goddess Joy Villa is making her way to NYC! I'm stoked. I met some amazing people in LA at the ASCAP I Create Music Conference, and they invited me to NYC to create music with them! We are calling ourselves, "4MF". Yep. It's crazy awesome, we are planning on making 20 tracks and choosing the best of those to put on an EP. Oh, and we're doing it in 4 DAYS! Crazy MFS!! :-) God is good. Life is sweet. ANd I have the best people surrounding me. It's good to be single and free and loving life again. I don't always share my private life with you guys...but I am freshly single and ready to mingle. After a 9 month relationship with a pretty great guy, we part as friends and remain so. Things really CAN work out when you stay humble and grounded! So, that's it...music is the main chemical fueling my veins right now...that and coffee. My drummer Jer is badass. My new guitarist Scottie is awesome, and my brand brand baby fresh new bassist is killer. What more could I ask for? A date with Jared Leto? Yes, please!
